The tango, this type of music is very interesting for me. The Tango is from Argentina, it was normally singing together with the dance and music. Nothing personal why i like this music. It's just beautiful, sexy, elegant and nice. Sometimes people describe it, like making a sex and as you know it is always dance by grace.
At the ancient time, the warrior who is having ability to kill in speed, skill and ferocious during that time is believe to have a great ability to dance in grace as well. opps...i took this statement from Antonio Banderas from movie "Take the Lead". For me, it is true. Why i say so, took the example 'Ngajat Dance' by Iban tribe. It is also always dance by the great warrior to show their power, strong, grace, and authority. Therefore, for the woman it is like privileged to dance with them. Kind of like that because the dance always lead by a man and it is man responsibility to take to woman into that journey.
The Morna. The morna originally come from Cape Verde. One of the Portuguese colonial last time. The morna always singing together using instrument such as cavaquinho, clarinet, accordion,violin, piano, and guitar. One the notable morna singer that i like the most is Cesarea Evora. I like her music so much. I feel wanna like to dance every time that i play her music. Morna for me is like a enjoyable music with dance like a latin concept and in the music you actually can express your feeling with the enjoyable mood although the things is very unpleasantness like sad, frustrated and hurt in the heart. This kind of music always sing in Portuguese dialect or Cape Verde native language. Maybe that is the reason why this music is the best. Sing with the originality. haha. I like that.
